1. License & Usage

VocabPin grants you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application and its associated widgets solely for personal, non-commercial language learning and educational purposes on your compatible iOS devices.

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, extract, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from the application, its codebase, or its underlying vocabulary database.

2. Free Access & No Subscriptions

VocabPin is currently provided completely free of charge. There are no mandatory subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no hidden fees required to access all 17 languages, 2,000 vocabulary concepts, 33 topic packs, and widget functionality.

We do not require account creation, payment credentials, or credit card information to use any part of the service.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the VocabPin application, website, logos, visual assets, 3D icon designs, UI typography, pre-recorded native audio files, and the curated 2,000-concept dictionary across 17 languages are and will remain the exclusive property of VocabPin and its creators.

Apple, iPhone, iOS, Lock Screen, and WidgetKit are registered trademarks of Apple Inc. VocabPin is developed independently and is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc.

4. System Operation & WidgetKit Disclaimers

VocabPin operates within the sandbox constraints of Apple's iOS operating system. Widget update timing, frequency, and background reload cycles are subject to Apple's WidgetKit budget algorithms, device battery preservation policies, and system power conditions. While VocabPin schedules optimal hourly timelines, we cannot guarantee exact-to-the-minute widget refresh intervals.

5. Educational Disclaimer & No Warranties

VocabPin is designed as an educational tool to facilitate passive vocabulary priming and language exposure. The service and all content are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the application will fulfill specific academic exam outcomes, language certification standards, or that vocabulary translations will be 100% error-free for all cultural and regional contexts.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VocabPin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the application or website.

7. Apple Standard Terms Compliance

Your access to the application via the Apple App Store is also governed by Apple's standard terms and conditions, including the licensed application end user terms set forth in the Apple Standard EULA.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. If changes are made, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the application following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
